Building Wealth in Line With Your Values

Financial consultation with Shahd Abdelhadi

Wealth With Purpose

If I asked you right now whether you would want to become a millionaire tomorrow, I hope you would say yes.

Not for the status or the recognition, but because of what that money would let you do.

Giving more sadaqah

Taking your family on vacation

So what if that wealth does come, and it comes easy, in shaa Allah, but you are not ready for it?

Because the goal is never just more money.

The goal is to gain more money and use it in the best way.

Here is a hadith I thought I would share:

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that a person s feet will not move on the Day of Judgment until they are asked about five core matters: their life and how they spent it, their youth and how they used it, their wealth and how they earned and spent it, and their knowledge and what they did with it

I don’t need systems… Or so I thought.

Things looked fine. I was managing, the bills were paid, money came in and went out, al Hamdollilah, I didn't think I needed help.

It wasn’t until things got hard—really hard—that I realized “fine” isn’t a plan.

It wasn’t until I took a forty percent cut in my salary that I understood I needed a system.

Because winging it isn’t the same as managing it, and winging it only works until it doesn’t.

But here is what made it worse: I didn’t have anyone to turn to who understood both sides, the financial and the faith.

I needed someone who could talk about halal investing without the jargon like tell me what an ETF is or how I should buy Crypto, someone who could help me build a money system that actually fit my life and my values.

I couldn’t find that person. So I built the resources I wish I’d had, for the version of me that thought she was fine.

If this sounds like you: you’re not behind, you’re just missing a system. And systems can be built.

Imagine six months from now — no more guessing on investing, no more anxiety about whether your money is even halal, just quiet confidence because you finally have a plan that fits your life and your values.

That’s what I’m here to help you build.

Systems → Values → Action

Your money needs systems and structure too.

We spend our lives trying to earn halal wealth, only to let things fall through the cracks because we were never taught the systems to manage it well.

01

Systems

When you go to work, you know what you need to do to stay productive. When you meal prep ahead of time because you want an easier week, that's a system.

02

Structure

Islam is built on systems and structure: we pray five times a day, fast for one month in the year, and have a khutbah each Friday.

03

Action

Money systems turn your values into action. Where does your money go? Where do you invest it? How do you make sure every pound or dirham is working toward the goals that actually matter?

We create wealth because we don’t want those areas to be a source of stress. We want them to be a source of power.

Meet Shahd

I spent years at Mastercard watching how money moves through the world.

Then I became intrigued with something else: how it should move.

What I learned is this: money isn't just about transactions. It's about systems, and I love building systems.

Whether that's how my team manages tasks, how I organize the spices in my kitchen, or how I manage my investments.

Today, I work at the intersection where Islamic finance meets blockchain.

Building the system itself.

As Head of Growth at Takadao, we're building Shariah-compliant alternatives to conventional banking — essentially, we're redesigning the system itself.

And through Women Who Invest, a UAE-based community of 200+ women, we're building the blueprint women need to understand how to grow wealth in line with their values.

Your next six months

You’re not behind. You’re just missing a system.

And systems can be built.
